About the Role:
We’re looking for an engaging and impactful Translation Coordinator who wants their writing to help millions of people around the world. This position is part-time and you can work in Paris or remotely. Fabulous content is written in English, but the app is a global community. The Translations Coordinator finds top translators, editors, and sees that the work is beautifully rewritten in many different languages. They find top voiceovers in many languages and coordinate the audio recording process – all managed within an Airtable Database and Google Drive folders. You are attracted to this position because you already have a strong multinational translator network that could be activated quickly with the right level of proactiveness and excellence. You already love the Fabulous app. You’re a user who is already familiar with well-being. You have a desire to help people in their personal growth. You have a feel for the nuance of our writing in English and will make it your own personal mission to bring beauty, clarity to all the languages we deliver. You can spot a crass translation and can recognize the subtle poetic texture and shading that makes a difference.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor translation projects and follow up with any missing/late/delayed work
- Source translators in multiple languages
- Coordinate every stage of the translation workflow
- Crosscheck scripts for accuracy and quality
- Source voice over artists in multiple languages
- Crosscheck audio for accuracy and quality
- Regularly back up translated content
- Transfer content between AirTable and GoogleDrive
Who you are:
- Highly organized
- Ability to manage and track multiple workflows over time
- Prior familiarity with AirTable is a big plus
- Knowledge of finding and maintaining excellent translators
- Self-directing
- High attention to detail
- Excellent and timely communication skills
- Highly fluent in English
- Multilingual would be a bonus
- Familiarity with the Fabulous app
- A natural inclination for Fabulous Values of respect, feedback, collaboration, speed, craftsmanship, simplicity, and responsibility
- A desire to help all people find their best life, no matter who they are
- Experience in project management and product internationalization
