We’re looking for a QA Engineer with a passion for health and behavior change to help drive high-quality releases. You will be part of a small, high-performance team and will have the opportunity to excel and grow your career delivering great quality product at a fast pace.

You will collaborate with Development and Product Managers to drive testability and ensure quality of the releases.

Responsibilities

  • Checks if the software meets specifications and that it fulfills its intended purpose.
  • Creates, reviews, executes, and maintains functional test cases
  • Execute manual and write automated tests
  • Covering the entire bug life cycle from creating understandable and complete bug reports over follow up, retest, bug fix validation and closure.
  • Work with the dev team to set their priorities and remove their roadblocks to make sure sufficient coverage is done for the release.
  • Assess the status of the release, and help make sure that the release goes out on time with high-quality level.
  • Accessible for clarifications and discussions in project related communication channels

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline required or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
  • Understanding of SDLC and STLC (Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Pro-active on taking up new challenges by learning new tools and environments.
  • Programming/scripting language proficiency
  • Proficient Knowledge of testing tools and standard practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science
  • Experience in Java and/or Swift
